ICorr Coating Inspector – Level 2

Elevate your coating inspection career to the next level by studying the ICorr Coating Inspector – Level 2 online course. ICorr level 2 personnel are qualified to perform and direct inspections or testing operations according to established and recognised procedures.

 

They must demonstrate competence to:

  • Choose the extent of inspection or testing to be used

  • Choose the inspection and test methods to be used

  • Set up and calibrate inspection or test equipment

  • Perform and supervise inspection or testing tasks

  • Interpret and evaluate results according to applicable normative documents

  • Define the limitations of application for common test methods

  • Understand and transform normative document requirements into practical instructions adapted to the actual working conditions

  • Prepare written test instructions

  • Organise and report the results of inspections or tests

Assessment Centre

    Online - Final assessments can be completed in the classroom or online at home from anywhere around the world.

Study Time

    New students: 80 hours online study or online proctored + one day classroom assessment.

    ICorr level 1 Corrosion Academy student - 40 hours online training + one day classroom assessment.

Entry Criteria

    24 months of coating inspection experience. A recognised level 1 coating inspection Certificate.
